At this website you will find all and any information about the personal data we process in connection with the use of our website, our procedures and your rights. Information in this section ensues from Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council [1], which we will further refer to as the “GDPR”.

Who works with your data

We, L I N E T spol. s r.o. [2] are the controller of your personal data. Our company is part of the international group LINET Group SE [3], which also includes further manufacturers of healthcare products and our branches in individual countries. These companies can process your personal data in the role of processor or joint controllers.

IP address

We cannot do without your IP address otherwise we would not be able to display our website to you. For the purposes of the safety of our website we store your IP address together with the date of access in the access logo for 30 days after your last visit, then the records are deleted.

Thanks to these cookies our website remembers the language, for example, that you have selected. These cookies do not process any personal data and are used solely for this purpose. These cookies are stored in your browser up to the moment that you delete cookies.

We use the Google Analytics tool on our website for measuring website visits to which we do not send any personal data. Analytical cookies are stored in your browser for a maximum of 2 years after your last visit.

Newsletter

We send our newsletter to our clients, employees and only to people who have registered to receive it, in this case on our website and have granted consent to receive business messages. Contact form

Using the contact form you can ask us about anything or together we can begin to discuss cooperation. In the contact forms we work with your name, information about the company and e-mail address. We process these data only for the purpose of creating an offer of our services, talks on an offer or for an answer to your question for no longer than 12 months after sending the form, if you do not grant your consent to the further processing of your data.

Your rights

Please be aware that according to the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request information from us about personal data processing,
  • Access your processed personal data, their correction, deletion or restriction of their processing,
  • Raise an objection to the processing of personal data,
  • Withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data,

The aim of this document is to inform you about the way in which we handle your personal data as part of our marketing activities and development of new products. This document answers all questions regarding processing your personal data and introduces general regulations of data protection which we follow, as well as your legal rights.

Information about the controller

The controller of your personal data regarding the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) is us, the company L I N E T spol. s.r.o. [2] Our company is a part of the international group LINET Group SE [3], which includes other producers of medical products and our branches in the individual states. These companies can process your personal data in the role of the controller or joint controllers.

Regulations of personal data processing (Privacy Policy)

Legality and transparency

We process your personal data based on a few legal titles. If we entered into a contract or if we are only negotiating in the meantime, related processing of your personal data falls under the legal title of contract performance. We would not need your personal data, but its processing is required from us by other laws, therefore we process such data based on our legal obligation.

If we have already entered into a contract, our goal is for you to gain the maximum use from our products. For this reason, we are sending you for instance newsletters with products tips, invitations to trainings and fairs, and other useful information. Moreover, from time to time our sales representative may contact you and offer you an appropriate advancement or modification of product. All of this happens on the basis of our legitimate interest.

If you are not our customer and we are still sending you our newsletters, it is done based on consent which you have given us. You might have agreed here on the website, on social networks, or at fairs and conferences.

You can find information about the specific way of processing personal data in this document, in the relevant information about the processing of personal data or in the text of the consent, where consent is the used legal basis.

Purpose of processing

All information which we process is processed with a clearly specified purpose. You can find the overview of purposes, which we work with, bellow. Other data, where the purpose of processing has already passed, are always deleted or anonymized by us.

Minimization and accuracy of data

We process only such data which we really need for the specified purpose. Sometimes we may ask you to update your data, by which we ensure their accuracy.

Time limitation

We process your personal data for the period specified in the specific text of consent. If the legal basis is performance of the contract, we process data for the duration of the contract. Afterwards we can process your personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest (e.g. for our own business records or for defense in the event of a legal dispute), as a rule for the period of 5 years after the contract termination. Processing on the basis of a legal obligation is based on individual legal regulations which are set by specific deadlines.

Integrity and confidentiality

Processing of your personal data is done mostly electronically. All systems are regularly tested and secured against accidental data leakage. All employees of the company LINET, who work with your data, are carefully trained through our internal guidelines.

All paper documents are secured and our employees are also trained in the way they ought to handle these materials.

Purposes of processing of personal data

Data processing without your consent

Processing of data without your consent is done in these situations:

  1. Entering and performance of a contract or negotiation of a contract

    We need to process some of your personal data in order to negotiate about cooperation and enter a contract. This situation entitles us to use the data only for the purposes of negotiation of the contract and entering the contract.

  2. Sending newsletters and offers

    If we have entered a contract together, we will send you product tips and offers based on our legitimate interest. You can unsubscribe from this communication at any time.

  2. Preventing damage to our property
  3. Recovery of claims, litigation and other disputes

Data processing with your consent

Processing of your data with your consent is voluntary. If you do not grant us your consent, the performance of the contract will not be affected. Based on your consent, we implement these activities:

  1. Customer care - activities which are not subject to the performance of the contract and can not be considered as our legitimate interest
  2. Market research
  3. Development and advancement of our products
  4. Offering products and services

Data sources

We obtain your personal data directly from you while negotiating the contract or based on the consent. In some cases, we use publicly available resources or data from third parties authorized to handle your data and pass it on to us.

Data scope

For the above-mentioned purposes, we process your following contact details (name and surname, job position, company, telephone number, e-mail address) and also:

• For the purpose of developing our products: information about your education, date of birth

• For product training purposes: Participation in training, test result

Method of processing

Your personal data are processed mainly in electronic form, exclusively manually in the information systems of our company. Your data is processed by our employees and third parties - processors with whom we have written agreements guaranteeing the same level of privacy protection as we ourselves provide.

Passing of personal data abroad

Your personal data is processed primarily in the Czech Republic and other countries of the European Union (EU). Although our LINET Group SE also operates outside the EU, the personal data of European customers are not passed outside the European Union.

Your rights

Consent withdrawal

For some purposes, we may only process your personal data based on your consent. This consent is voluntary, and you can withdraw it at any time in the manner specified in the relevant consent or through the above-mentioned contact. If you withdraw your consent, we will not process your personal data for that purpose. However, your personal data may be processed for other purposes, which are based on other legal basis.

Right of access

You may request information about your personal data at any time. We will process your request free of charge and without delay. As part of your right of access, we will also provide you with a copy of your personal data we process.

Right to rectrification and restrict processing

If you find any of your personal data as outdated or incorrect, you have the right to request the correction of these data and stop processing them until the amendment is complete. You may also request us to limit the processing of your personal data for the selected purposes.

Right to be forgotten

You may ask us to delete your personal data. In the case of consent, a request for a deletion of the data will be considered as a withdrawal of your consent, in the case of a negotiation of the contract, this request will lead to the termination of the negotiation.

Right to object

You may object at any time to the processing based on the legal basis of the legitimate interest (see above). If the objection concerns processing for direct marketing purposes, your personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes. In other cases, we will process your personal data only if we have serious legitimate processing grounds that outweigh your interests or rights and freedoms.
