The 74th Annual Conference for the NSW Nurses and Midwives Association

"It was our first time exhibiting at this event. We wanted to investigate the viability of the conference for the future and also connect with key contacts. Initially, we thought that the event‘s focus was more on midwifery. However, it was actually a dedicated conference for all nurses in New South Wales (NSW), including nurses from acute and aged care," said Milli.

They received approximately 8 quality leads for AVE 2 beds for the NSW market. Milli said, "One key lead was the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, who were very keen to trial the bed. The delegates who visited the booth all commented on the design of AVE 2 and how smart the bed looked. We also heard many birthing stories from the female nurses and had some very funny moments."

There were 350+ delegates at this congress, all from the NSW/ACT region (Sydney/Canberra). “The visiting nurses said they attend every year as it’s always a worthwhile event. The attention we received at the booth was exceptional, with a continuous flow of visitors and conversations,” said Milli.

LINET shared the booth with Astris Lifecare, a local partner in the New South Wales region. Astris proved very proficient in their marketing by using light panels, big yellow balloons to attract the crowd, and their own flooring, which made it possible to push the stand out and make it slightly bigger.

"We would like to pass on our gratitude and thanks to Stephen Wallace, Sam Little and Sarah Wakely from Astris Lifecare for all the effort and planning. LINET and Astris were the only companies displaying equipment. The conference was very affordable, with no competition, and we received a lot of attention. Thank you to Danielle Nicholson, Sales & Marketing for the NSW Nurses and Midwifery Association, who was very easy to deal with, down to earth and there to help us at every turn," concluded Milli.
