LINET MEA joined forces with Medihosp at SAFHE/CEASA 2019.
SAFHE/CEASA hosted the biennial conference at the ICC (International Conference Centre) in Cape Town, South Africa, from the 6th to the 8th of August. LINET had a combined booth displaying the Latera, AVE 2 and TOM 2 beds with their local distributor Medihosp, South Africa's leading supplier of technologically advanced medical products.
"The booth was visited by customers from the public and private sector in South Africa,” said John Wales - Area Sales Manager, "We were visited by a delegation from the Medi Clinic Head Office, a private hospital group operating in SA, UAE, and Switzerland, and they were especially interested in the AVE 2 and Tom 2."
Neil McMillan – Group Managing Director, Wilmot Makhaza, Avash Sunnylall, and Joshua Rambuwane attended the exhibition as representatives of Medihosp, and John Wales was there to represent LINET. At the conference, Avash Sunnylall, the National Service Manager for Medihosp, delivered a talk on “LINET - an object of desire, not just choice”. This lecture was attended by close to 100 delegates who had interesting questions about LINET products afterward.
John says, "The general feedback from all the exhibitors was that the conference was worth attending and that it was a good platform to meet all the clinical engineers working in the public and private healthcare industry within South Africa."
SAFHE (South African Federation of Healthcare Engineering) represents healthcare professionals in the fields related to the design, construction, management, and maintenance of healthcare facilities.
CEASA (Clinical Engineering Association of South Africa) is an association for healthcare professionals involved in the maintenance, management, support, development and quality assurance of healthcare technology.
